Chitrangada movie review: Directed by Ashok G under the production of Sridhar Gangapatnam, the movie Chitrangada had made its release on Friday i.e 10 March 2017. Chitrangada touted to be a thriller-comedy film which stars the Kollywood actress Anjali in the main lead. The film is a bilingual which made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu where Tamil Version is titled “Yarni“.
The film has hit the screens in Tollywood today. The 2 hours 25 min runtime film has impressed the audience with enough laughter and the horror scenes also made them scared somehow in its first half. The famous comedian Sapthagiri’s hilarious comedy grabs the attention of the audience.
Chitrangada movie review and Story Plot:
The actress Anjali looks in a very trendy role. The film was extensively shot in the US. Anjali plays Chitrangada aka Chitra is a psychology professor at a college and she is also doing her research on the existence of paranormal activity. Some dreams and visions start haunting her and the actress decides to take off to the US to unveil the mystery behind her visions and experiences.
Unfortunately, Chitra’s life falls in danger. How come the actress overcome the circumstances and does she unveil the mystery forms the crux of the story. Sapthagiri plays the character Kunjan Ko Babban and Jabardasth fame Sudigal Sudheer is seen as Kanakambaram.
Actress Sindhu Tulani, Raksha are also seen in prominent roles. Chitrangada movie has a decent BGM which is composed by Selva Ganesan and Swaminathan. The film has extraordinary computer graphics and Bal Reddy’s cinematography. Prawin Pudi has handled the editorial work.
